Opening Ceremony of IV Moscow International David Oistrakh Violin Competition will take place on the birthday of maestro – September 30. The evening will be opened with greetings Chairman of the Jury Igor Oistrakh to participants and jury members of the Competition and drawing. The evening will continue by performance of laureates of David Oistrakh competition and other international competitions Ilian Garnet and Nikita Borisoglebsky. Young musicians will perform solo and with Chamber Orchestra “Moscovia” under conducting by People Artist of USSR Eduard Grach. In the end the orchestra will perform famous overture from Rossini opera “La gazza ladra” (The Thieving Magpie).
