EMCY

In February, 2009 D.Oistrakh international violin competition became a member of EMCY organization.

European Music Competition for Youth unites more than 60 international and national competitions for young musicians. The association was founded in 1970 as non-commercial organization and it's main goal is to participate in development of music education and to support young musicians in Europe. Promotion of EMCY members prize-winners includes: invitation to perform in EuroRadio Youth Concerts with orchestra, to participate in European Concerts (with and without orchestra) including concert tours through virious European countries, to take part in European interpretation and chamber music courses and also awarding "EMCY Art for Music Prize".
