Opening of the Competition on 21th September

The opening ceremony of the V Moscow International David Oistrakh Violin Competition was held in September 21th. The concert was attended Ryosuke Suho, the winner of the previous Oistrakh competition from Japan, as well as the David Oistrakh Quartet. The first violin of the Quartet Andrey Baranov – winner of the Oistrakh and Queen Elisabeth Competitions – determined the order of performance of the participants at the draw ceremony.
