The Organizing Committee of the 5th Moscow International David Oistrakh Violin Competition announces the following Prizes and Diplomas:

    • II Prize - 3000 Euro
    • III Prize - 2000 Euro
  • «Senior»Category
    • I Prize - 15000 Euro
    • II Prize- 10000 Euro
    • III Prize - 5000 Euro

Special prizes and awards
  • «The best performance of an obligatory piece F. Schubert – F. Liszt. Waltz-caprice. Transcription for violin and piano by David Oistrakh» for a Junior category
  • «The best performance of  W.A. Mozart’s Concerto ¹ 3 G-dur, KV 216» for a Senior category
  • «The best performance of Sonata» for a Senior category

      The laureates of the Competition will take part

  • in concerts organized by David Oistrakh Charity Foundation.
  • in concerts organized by Moscow State P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
  • to participate as a soloist with the orchestra at the annual concert of the award-winners of the competitions-members of the EMCY, arranged by the European Union TV (EBU) in one of the 15 countries of the Union;
  • to participate in other concerts in Europe arranged by EMCY and the organizers of the competitions-members of the EMCY;
  • one of the award-winners will be able to receive the special Prize of EMCY «Art of Music»

      In accordance with the results of the competition within the limits the Jury reserves the rights: not to award some prizes, to divide prizes between the participants.

      The decision of the Jury is final and cannot be changed afterwards.

      The Prizes will be presented in ruble equivalent according to the Rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on the day of the payment.
